We looked it up, and apparently “pansy” is from the French word “pensie”, meaning thought or remembrance. What a lovely connotation! This group represents its name well… with delicate pansy prints, textures and an extraordinary gradated stripe that is simply stunning. Purple is always a favorite with quilters, and these fabrics vary from the palest lilac to deep purple, with accents of metallic gold…simply stunning.
