Finishing School
So, you finished your top . . . now what? Learn about different batting and thread options and how to prepare your quilt for finishing. Practice tying and quilting by hand and machine, making straight knife-edge, straight-grain, bias, and self bindings, and how to make both butted and mitered corners. (And learn the secret to perfectly joined bindings every time!) You will leave class with a number of reference samples and the confidence to finish your masterpieces. Feel free to bring completed tops for a discussion of appropriate finishing options.
