Easy “Basic” Bargello Quilts

The Bargello style of quilts is a very popular pattern because it can be made with so many different color combinations and all are so beautiful. The Bargello pattern uses a strip piecing technique that builds a tube which when cut into strips produce the “magic” of the Bargello wave. In the first session you will be guided through the fabric and color selection process and how to cut and assemble the strips of fabric. There will be a number of free patterns supplied to help the students determine the final look, but students can also be helped if they chose to do their own unique design. This class will concentrate on the basic simple tube design for making various size Bargello quilts. This is a fantastic way to use that “jelly roll” that you bought a while back and have yet to use!
