Made for Me Dress Class
Have you ever wanted to turn your favorite fabrics into wearable clothing?
In this one day class you will learn how to take your measurements and create a dress fit for You.
I'm Regi, and I have been creating clothes for decades. In that time I have found some simple ways to convert my own personal numbers into comfortable, simple, and fun clothing.
No Pattern needed, no difficult directions, you will need pre-washed yardage of your favorite fabric and a list of details you want in your dress.
Items you will need for this class:
Pattern Master Ruler (This will have to be purchased from Amazon; Liquiddraw Pattern Maker Perspex is the one I use)
Fabric Marking Pin or Pencil
Sewing Clips or pins of your preference
Sewing Machine
Tape Measure and pencil
Tape Measure and pencil
Snips, rotary cutter and/or scissors
1 yard of light weight interfacing
Yardage of Fabric 3 - 4 yards depending on your size and the length you want your dress.
Please pre-wash and dry this fabric as you would care for your clothing. The worstthing would be to make a something and then have it shrink in the wash and not beable to enjoy wearing it after all your work. Questions about just how much fabric? Erron the side of more. Once you make the first one you will know for sure what you needfor the next and the next. (I wear a street clothing 3x or 26 and this dress took almostall of four yards with minimal scrap left over)
Day 1 - no machine required, we will be measuring and getting our fabric purchased and ready
