My First Quilt Project, a Beginner's Class

Are you a beginning quilter? Looking to improve your skills? Then this class is for you! By the end of our six sessions, you will have learned the basic skills of contemporary quiltmaking: fabric selection and care, rotary cutting, accurate piecing, piecing your back and sandwiching the quilt, quilting with a walking foot, and binding. The class project is a finished quilt that measures 73 x 73. See the sample in the shop.
We will have a class prep session on Saturday, February 15. This prep session will discuss tools, fabric requirements, and questions you might have; bring a notepad and writing implement.
Please be sure you know how to use your sewing machine and that it is in working order.
We will not be sewing at the prep session.
