Using Embroidery Garden's My Design Center Projects, Yvonne will lead students step by step through the book's six 'in-the-hoop' projects created entirely in My Design Center on the machine. You will create the design in the software (including the files) and then stitch them out.

5" x 7" and 6" x 10" hoops
One 6" X 10.5"piece of Peltex (Pellon 70--this is a heavy sew-in interfacing)
Two 6" x 10.5" pieces wool felt for door hanger
Two 6" wide x 8" high pieces of fabric for the front and back of the in-the-hoop case
One 6" wide x 3.5" high piece contrasting fabric for applique strip on in-the-hoop case
Matching or contrasting fabric (your choice) for back pocket of in-the-hoop case--one 6" wide x 14" high--press in half wrong sides together so it measures 6" x 7"
One 6" x 8" piece thin polyester batting (like Pellon 988)
One 6" x 7" piece thin polyester batting (like Pellon 988) placed inside the folded pocket
